This is a song about being followed around by my kids and my dog. My dog is my "shadow". I am naturally an introvert and need space, but I also recognize that time is fleeting and that when these moments pass I will miss them. I am grateful to be able to have the connection I do so far with my children but sometimes I just need a break.

I wrote this song for the Kia creator contest using the Forest sound and Rush Bass. This song basically is about how polarized and volatile we are as a society through social media and political unrest etc etc. If we could just get back to simple nature and leave all that stuff behind who could we be?
