This was the penultimate episode of season one of our podcast. Little did we know that shortly after we recorded this we would be separated by 2000+ miles, but our friendship and love of music videos is still going strong. It was so fun spending our last evening recording this podcast with our lovely guest and friend Kenlynn Albright who shared the jam that is "Come Over" by The Internet with us. Hey, we're back to share the last of the episodes we recorded last summer! It's been so long since we recorded these episodes but we thought they were special and so we decided to share the remaining episodes of our podcast with everyone. On this episode our guest/friend Ethan Gill sat down to talk to us about Mac DeMarco's "Chamber of Reflection", and how his image as a musician comes through in his choice of Homer Simpson for his single-camera music video.

Many moons ago now we were lucky enough to sit down with more than half of the crew for a short film directed during the summer of 2018. At least half of the crew was us, the two co-hosts, and then our guest was the lead actor for the project. We sat down with our friend Felix Merback to talk about symbolism in one of his favorite music videos  Radiohead's "No Surprises".

All of us had just come off of wrapping up the shoot where lots of camaraderie was developed and so we definitely were all laughing perhaps a little deliriously throughout this episode. Enjoy!

Early in 2018 I had the idea to start a podcast about music videos because I realized after listening to so many podcasts that none of them ever discussed music videos exclusively. While some people think they're losing their grip in our cultural landscape, especially since the days of TRL and MTV actually playing music videos 24/7 has ended, I tend to believe the opposite. More people than ever get their entertainment online, and that's where music videos have found their new haven. Whether  strange, controversial, or in short film format, music videos are still making headlines these days, and are still enjoyed by so many. 
So I decided to ask my very creative friend Cordy Driussi, to be my co-host and for us to start this podcast "Music Video Musings" together where we can have guests on and discuss this art form. Each episode we'll have a new guest, and the guest picks the music video for the discussion. So tune in and enjoy!
