Was leaked a bit ago and my ego was a lil upset so I chose to try and improve upon myself with the "jersey" section you'll be able to hear it more in the instrumental but oh whatever..

You can enjoy the first version if you want I'm never going to judge you for that! Only reason it was remade was because I don't think it fully expressed what I wanted with the character and also I wanted to see if I could do better, I always treated 17bucks as a way to branch out and such I did I am forever grateful for that, I may not be the best "musician" or not know enough but I'm happy if at least one person fucks with what I make I truly appreciate it, thankz nom nom

In 2023, Ape20 reached out to me and asked to make a song for a future FNF 17bucks update. I had this done initially on September 9th, but I was unhappy with the result so I remade it in 2024. Honestly I'm not sure if it was ever going to be used in the first place.
Thought I'd post it here for archival sake, and since the mod got discontinued.

Originally for floor 3, which had the theme of older media in general, including FNF mods. 

The story (or interpretation) was that a lot of the older characters found themselves confused and irritated in a new place that felt completely devoid of direction. Garcello was one of the major exceptions, with him communicating Mimi after they fell unconscious, thereby passing on his story in a more gloomy manner.

We really had fun getting that point across. If you played the original mod, you'd be better at playing the song, as while some things are changed here and there, the chart would be exactly the same for the referenced patterns.

I originally wasn't as in tune with what was going on generally with 17BUCKS earlier in development, so when I alongside a couple of others were approached with remaking a song more aligned with the creator's vision for the update, I did my best to research, study the song, and make sure at least the essence of the song was somewhat similar. It became a place to represent the things I like alongside Turnip as a character along with Froad. I sampled my favorite musicians and said progressions. I'm not great at Mario stuff.

I never feel great about replacing songs in general, but I cannot deny that I absolutely loved working on it. I was very much inspired by the remix fluffyhairs made and decided to utilize it. They've been an inspiration for me for a long time, but nobody say a word.
