Another one of those trips through an archive, this time not vinyl but through a very large and varied CD wallet. 

Before USB or even mp3 was a thing, the cutting edge of DJ mixing technology was the compact disk. 10(ish) tunes on one CD alongside a copy of the same tunes on another blank disk, to enable mixing those tunes on the first disk. 

It sounds crazy now but it was like this for a long time before the digital revolution completely changed the way we use media and storing it.

O.C.D is a tribute to those hazy days of the Naughties. Every single tune selected here holds a special place in DJ EGG's heart for one reason or another. An incredibly huge part of the rich tapestry developed with passion and dedication........ 

The CD wallet holds the key to the past, unlocked and ready to share with you guys. As usual, each track is programmed to complement the various styles of the hard house sound. There is a very energetic and uplifting feeling throughout!!!

Anyone who was around back then, especially all the clubbers and rave family members, will have a nostalgic trip out to this!!! For anyone new to these sounds, welcome to the future past!!!

A sense of real fun digging up these gems, some real hard hitters!! Loved those days and the CD archive will now never be forgotten, the old skool immortalized with a modern slant..........

I did a set live at the Butchers Arms in Aberdeen. It was supposed to be recorded live, however due to technical incompetence it was not. But after positive feed back from the revers who attended, I was pressured to re-record my set to share. This set contains a mixture of modern, and classic, harder-house sounds, with hard-house and tech-house being the main genre of music. I mixed this set digitally using Pioneer CDJ900 decks and a Pioneer DJM600 mixer. It was recorded through Audacity.
