Afrobeat Mix D

An explorer and creator from an early age. Matika music, real name Matika Timmy Tshifhango was born into a long line of live music, music lived within his father who choired musical legends. As a youngster, he would be practicing drums. Mastery at this skill led him to be one of the most popular percussionist in Thohoyandou, his hometown he was then became a national act when he started growing into music. At the age of 17 Matika fell in love with the electronic side of music and got into DJ’ing. 

“All your blessings are prepared for you by God, all you have to do is claim them” are words Matika used reiterate over his peers. He is now a successful Live Sound engineer. Through his many talents which include producing, Matika Music has shared stages with former Liquideep’s Ziyon, Ricky Rick and Dj Vitoto. Called to do music, Matika has worked as a sound engineer for theatres in cruise ships which travel from England, London to Portugal, Barcelona and all over the world. 

Matika Music is an Afrobeat DJ which combines African music and all other genres. He aims to change the world through music. As part of trying to get his music to the people, Matika has recorded Afrobeat mixes which are available on Sound cloud app. He resonates well with African upbeat yet urban music which he is currently loving to give out to the people when he DJ’s. One of his latest singles, “No signal” with Lisha Musiq has gotten a positive feedback from the masses which has gotten many downloads on digital platforms.
