to fill people in one of their friends who was semi apart of the band for a bit, lydia night was ab*sed by her ex boyfriend. people were mad that destroy boys didnt do anything about it since lydia was still with him when the regrettes went on tour and the destroy boys opened for them, but at the time vi and alexia were only 16-17 and were groomed ab*sed themselves and not it was normal (ex- i threw glass at my friends eye and now im on probation is a song about an old guy one of them used to date). theres an old live stream you can find on yt explaining the whole thing. theres also this whole thing with burger records and lydias more recent ex boyfriend? i cant remember much about it but i dont think db has much to do with it
