**I NEVER USE A.I. IN ANY OF MY SONGS OR VIDEOS!** Hi everybody, my name is Jim and I’m a songwriter, I've written over 300 songs, I play guitar, bass, piano, and am an okay lyricist.  I play all types of music and have my own recording studio.  I use no A.I. or DAW or any computers to make my songs or my videos, all the instruments are played by me live on a multitrack studio recorder and Charlie, my vocalist, sings most of my songs and also plays the Harmonica on several tracks. I use video clips from Motion Array or Pexals or Pixabay for my videos. I'm not a pro or a great musician but I do what I can with the tools that I have! I belong to the "Keep Humans In Music Movement" (KHMM)! We're NOT perfect but we're REAL! Thanks everyone for listening and the world needs more music now, real music made by HUMANS not MACHINES! Addict of the SynthPop of the time (OMD, Yazoo, Human League, Erasure, Depeche Mode, Ace of Base, italian SynthPop, Pet Shop Boys, A Flock of Seagulls, Elli et Jacno, Partenaire Particulier, Ultravox, Book of Love, The Buggles, Visage or others similar Bands), my inspiration today is clearly from all these wonders : nice melodies and synthetic style.

I am a self-taught guitarist, delivering a traditional song writing style with rock, acoustic, folk, country and blues influences.

Whilst it is mostly a load of cheesy old nonsense, I have had a lot of enjoyment making all of these songs when I have time.
My vocals can be an acquired taste… (this is not my day job, just a hobby! 😂) but I hope that you can at least enjoy the musical melodical side of things.

All songs so far have been performed and recorded using a Taylor 214CE DLX on a Boss BR80 digital recorder. 

In 2024 I released “Whipped, Stripped & Almost Unplugged” which is an acoustic album of original songs. 
Further original releases have arrived and will continue to come which will be part of the next album called "The Road to Retrospection" in the near future.

I also have the pleasure of some occasional assistance from long-time friend and collaborator ©️CrackerJack on various tracks (check out his own stuff he’s pretty good!) and hope you can find a song you like out of everything that is here.

I make music for fun and to get away. I have multiple styles, although my biggest influence is in electronic music.

I am self taught and learned with Music Studio 2 on a first generation ipad 11 years ago. I have never composed before. Perform more than 80 songs a year for the first 6-7 years to learn about the program and develop creativity to compose. I have listened to different types of music throughout my life and maybe that has helped me.

I still compose only with an ipad (last generation), but I no longer work only with native MS2 instruments since I have expanded my instrument library with programs such as Audiokit, Digital D1, kv331, Sunrizer, etc ...

My music can be downloaded, but not used for commercial purposes (my authorization is required).

Deutscher Singer-Songwriter über fünfzig Jahre alt. Seit fast vierzig Jahren schreibe und singe ich Lieder. Mein Hauptinstrument ist die akustische Gitarre, aber ich mag auch Perkussionsinstrumente (Cajon, Maracas, Gurio). Ich liebe es, melancholische und poetische Balladen zu komponieren. Aber manchmal schreibe ich auch (schwarze) humorvolle Songs, Jazzstyle und -Rocksongs. Meine Hauptsprache ist Deutsch. Aber in Zukunft will ich mehr Songs auf Englisch und vereinzelt auch Französisch schreiben.

German singer-songwriter over fifty years old. For almost forty years I have been writing and singing songs. Recently I was blocked out of SC because of a 2-factor authentication problem. It has been a difficult year for me personally.  I experienced a very bad fall in July... broken bones and the works!  I'm finally whole again and the music has kept me going.  I am infinitely inspired and humbled by the extraordinary creativity I hear from your music each day and the wonderful friends I have encountered from every part of the world! THANK YOU! I am so very grateful for your support and the gift of music in my life!
 
What Inspires Me...I am inspired each day to compose music that touches and connects the listener in meaningful ways that are personal to their own experiences and feelings.  I believe what the world needs is more songs about love for all living things and the earthly treasures around us. The power of love is magical, mysterious, and miraculous!  And, it is essential to our survival like water and the air we breathe.  I believe that through the universal language of music, love can heal, bring joy, and create an invisible chain that pulls all of us together, not apart.  

A Little About Me...I started composing in 2016  after not touching the piano for many years. A career, raising a family and just every day life got in the way of making music. After retiring as a music teacher in the public schools, I started dreaming of playing the piano again and my years of classical training slowly came back to me. I love every genre of music, and the talent and creativity on SoundCloud has inspired me at every level!

For those of you who follow me on Soundcloud, I have been experimenting with adding tracks to my piano compositions.  I create and record everything myself using a Yamaha 660DGX, including the instrumental tracks built into the keyboard. Then, I edit on my laptop using Sony Sound Forge Music Pro.  It's a simple set up, and I have lots to learn.  I am not afraid of receiving feedback if you have any to give.  Sometimes, it's the most simple thing I may be doing wrong that changes everything!
