"You are a bad man 21" is a collection of jumbled-up tunes from early hacienda house days, my mixes with KLF (who remembers them? Their entire library of music was destroyed by them and then they burnt all the money they made from their music in a conceptual art performance, brills!), there's also some low tempo psytrance, electro-funk, afro-funk, a mid section of beat matched tracks leading to some rock root reggae from the genius of Bull Wackies and ends with some words of wisdom from my favorite Oxford professor – all tracks made lovingly by "ordinary humans". Enjoy xx

This is my first collection of voices of Iranian women. It contains music produced by Iranian female singers and musicians, whose voices have been suppressed in recent years. They are forbidden from singing alone and can only sing along with men.

This is my contribution to reversing this cycle. These songs only have female singers and men -at most- just play along.

I hope you enjoy these beautiful voices and peaceful sounds as much as I do. And if you do, please share it with other friends! Of course I also welcome any feedback.

he masterful Do Not Sit on the Furniture come back with another of their superbly deep house offerings, with Namito & Naghib Shanbehzadeh at the helm for new single 'Sharab.’ Namito has shown his expertise before on huge labels such as Kompakt, Systematic, & Sol Selectas, and joins forces with Naghib Shanbehzadeh to mesmerising effect.

It starts off with brooding bass down low, and distant spiritual vocal sounds. Then some whispers appear in the foreground and the whole thing grows ever more enchanting. When the intoxicating middle eastern strings and trance including wails come in, your mind really is carried away on a blissful groove.

A dub and instrumental make this perfect for any setting and another fine offering from this essential label.
