This is an orchestral piece inspired by Christian mythology. It's meant to tell the story of Christ descending into Limbo, bringing salvation to all of the righteous who had died since the beginning of the world. I always thought it was a really cool story, and tried to recreate the same feel here.

Hard hitting, groovy rock song tuned to C# Standard, with pop influences throughout. Short and to-the-point, this one goes out to all the fakes out there.

Deceiver

This is a song about dreams that never happen. No matter how hard you try, sometimes the deck of cards is stacked against you. Half time shuffle, lotsa fills, and a gorgeous guitar solo with pop vibes in the background. Snuck some tricky stuff in there too :)))

Born out of the first two bars that I noodled randomly while sitting around. It's catchy as fuck, has time changes, two guitar solos, two piano solos, and two doomy verses.

Annihilation Blues

Layers upon layers of spirit-crushing ambiguity. This is a song about the uncanny valleys. The anxiety born of trying to comprehend your purposelessness in the universe. The anxiety that is amplified by the facades we have to wear everyday, yearning to be part of something bigger than ourselves. We're born empty, into the endless void, and we each make up our own reasons to keep existing, to keep fighting. Fighting for something that is only going to collapse into said void in the end. The Universe is an enigma- unknowable, infinite, timeless, and unfeeling. And here we are with our lizard brains, trying to assign some meaning to it. But what if there's none to be assigned, and we are all infinitely insignificant in the end?

You can be part of the charade, or you can opt out of it. Two paths, but which one is "right?" I guess you'd have to be God to figure that out.

C# Standard tuning, Locrian mode, odd time signatures, African drums, two guitar solos, a piano solo, and a ton of uncertainty. What's not to like?

This is a song that's dedicated to things that should not stay together. It's dedicated to the lies, the deception, and the hypocrisy that is too often the glue that holds our relationships together- and we are so wrapped up in them, and so wrapped up in ourselves that we don't realize that some things are meant to fall apart. 

I used every musical tool I had, and tried to create a song that doesn't center on anything. Too many variables, too many vibes. It's unstable, and at times, makes no sense. Sometimes it's happy, sometimes it's cryptic, sometimes it's sad, sometimes it's frightening. Just like our relationships can be.

What sorcery is this? Something positive and upbeat for a  change? This a song about courage. And how real courage is quiet and stands tall, whereas bravado begs to be noticed. Sometimes it takes more heart to be weak than it does to be strong.
