Up next, the label welcomes Italian DJ and producer Leonardo Gonnelli for his third appearance as he partners alongside Cuttin’ Headz regular and Pakate Records boss Jean Pierre for ‘Wake Up’ - with the two joined by Colombian talents DJ Fronter and Harvy Valencia, who each deliver slick remixes.
Combining wonky synths, rolling drums and warped vocals, ‘Wake Up’ welcomes a trippy ride as the pair combine styles to take things from the dancefloor deep into the after-hours. DJ Fronter’s remix lays the focus on snaking percussion and shimmering hats for an energetic take, while Harvy Valencia builds on the original’s off-kilter synths and highlights the interjecting vocals through a series of freaky echoes.
