In March of 2018 Leslie Serrano released her first music video titled “Middle of The Night” under the moniker “Dear Leslie”. Although having no prior music out, singing and poetry were things that she was dabbling in for years. Blending elements of modern pop, latin trap, and R&B to create atomospheric soundscapes, she describes her songs as letters to herself. Her subject matters are usually somber themes of lost love, night life, and complicated romance. Being of Dominican decent, her goal is to raise awareness of individuality and break the mold of what’s expected from an aritist of a latin background.
