With smoky rhodes keys, deep double bass, and a sax that vibes with guitar solos, this track flows through mixolydian, japanese, and dominant phrygian scales. It’s all about that natural evolution - merging, adapting, and connecting everything into one smooth, endless groove.

It drips — not with melody, but with pressure. With a tension that creeps just beneath the surface, too viscous to cry, too volatile to hold.

This track isn’t tender. It pulses. It seethes.
Somewhere between body music and psychological glitch, it captures the moment where a system overheats — and you can’t tell if the burn is inside or out.

This isn’t emotion. It’s exposure.
Not a breakdown. A transmission.
From a place that doesn’t care if you feel — only that you listen.

Originally I had written this more than a year ago under the heavy influence of Sonic Youth and Thurston Moore memoirs in particular (around the same time as "Forgotten Boy" which was also driven by the same matters). I tried to record it back then though the result wasn't quite satisfying, so until now it existed only as an Instagram reel where I was playing it live.

It could have remained like this if I hadn't realized that this tune might fit in perfectly with my new Da Tape De H project. So here it is, wide dynamics and fierce high-gain strumming properly produced and put on tape with Tascam 424 MKIII portastudio.

Hello and welcome! I'm an independent composer, musician, music teacher and producer from Düsseldorf/Germany. I played guitar and/or keyboards in various (rock/prog/indie/fusion/whatever) bands for years. Now I spend most of my time hanging out in the studio, creating tracks for video and TV content. Trying to be versatile, mixing and matching all kinds of genres I like. And I still don't use gen AI for my music.

It was quite a long way to get to this place. But now I'm here. Just listen.
