As a kid growing up, I was having to deal with the ups, downs, ins and outs of having a mild learning difficulty. I wanted to make a song that would sort of flesh out what my thoughts are about it to this day.

It's still a daily struggle, even with the added stresses of life in general, but the best parts about it is that it makes me feel a bit more independently minded and that thinking differently to others has never been and never will be a bad thing. 

To anyone who may struggle or suffer with learning difficulties or something similar, it's a strength, not a weakness that puts you in a place where you feel you're slower than everyone else. The idea is literally to find your feet... and take your time.

Might as well call this a Foo Fighters inspired track, but here we are. 

This is How is the second song in a new set of originals I've been racking my head round with lately. The message behind it is about moving on with the way the world turns. You may not like it, its never an easy thing to do, but nonetheless, it happens to us all and we progress with time.

This is How

A song I wrote back in college. 

I went through some rough times for a while and the words that resonated the most with me, over and over again, whenever I felt at my worst, were "this, too, shall pass."

Family and a good few friends would often tell me this, so it sunk in.

To this day, I still hope this song resonates with anyone who listens to it, especially when it comes towards mental health. To reassure anyone listening that they are normal, that this isn't the end of the world and that they never will be alone in their lives, is always a sobering notion...
