For feedback/songwriting purposes. I never show anyone anything/ask for help/actively seek out collaborators, so I'm curious to see what happens.

This is a demo of a song inspired by the 2009 PBS Nature Documentary The Queen of Trees, about the life cycle of the Sycamore Fig and agaonidae fig wasp. 

I'm hoping to get some feedback on structure and content. My own to do list includes:
-Rerecord all the sloppiness of course
-Find percussionists who'd be interested in replacing the standard Ableton Baion loop that serves as the backbone for the song, including tastier fills. That's also my vision for eventual live performance. 
-Add some variation to the bass line--does it drag to you, or is it comforting to have it be so reliable?
-Find some horn players to add some minor flourishes here and there, in particular the bridge and mirroring the main melody all the way at the end. Again I think that would be awesome live.
-Flesh out the bridge and verse lyrics, I'm thinking the first verse will be something about the wasp following the perfume on the wind, and the second verse will stay the same. The bridge was my first attempt. and I'm only really sure about the first two lines. "She shakes her leaves at the savanna sun/She sinks her toes into the river mud", definitely needs some melodic variation in that section.
-I've designed some simple interpretive choreography for the instrumental choruses, which is hilarious. I'd like to develop that more. What's your best dance impression of a little wasp or a big sugary tree?
