I felt like writing a classical laid back blues song and this was the result

My Heart Is Filled With Rain

I wrote this while riding my bike home from work one evening. Got home and put pen to paper so it wasn't lost. Did a demo in local studio and went to meeting with EMI publishing who took a keen interest but asked me to write in a middle 8. I was 18 at the time and knew better so never did until some years later and wiser. After recording this version I sent it in again to be rejected as might have been expected :) Still a nice song and still a song I wrote for my wife at the time.
