“Strizzle Seven” a.k.a. Lavelle Johnson was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. Growing up in the Hill District section of the city is where a young Strizzle experienced the highs and hardships that is brought to you through his vividly spoken art of hip hop & other genres. 

   Strizzle has given the state prison system almost 10 yrs of his life collectively and during those prison stints he lost a daughter who passed of SIDs, Both loving grandparents who were more of parents, since he was raised under their roof his first 14 years. Also losing his sons mother, A step father, and countless close friends and associates. Eventually Seven got granted a Supreme Court hearing and his conviction was overturned after serving those years!! Strizzle also wants to focus his time and moneys accumulated in the future to prison reform and the local communities of inner city black youths across the nation.

   Strizzle is dedicated to bringing good music to the world, and is fixated on bringing substance back to the core of hip hop music itself by telling the stories of his experiences and community problems over undeniable beats and hooks.

 Strizzle Seven’s first project released since his prison stint in which he came home from in August of 2020, was album self titled “Seven” which has solid bangers like “Made In China” and “Pressure” that turn you up to party or songs like “Cheaters” detailing a mans train of thought when he cheats on his woman. 

  Mr. Seven’s second project “O.C.S.” release in May 2021 did great numbers for an independent artist especially overseas where he charted top 5 album in multiple countries with hits like “Sometimes” dedicated to one of Hip Hops Greats N.O.R.E. better known for podcast “Drink Champs” these days. Also hot bangers such as “Understand My Role” & Open Kite!!

   Strizzle is currently unsigned and unmanaged which is extremely surprising considering how well he can write songs for such a broad range of genres, but nonetheless Seven plans on releasing a project some time this year. Hoping first to land his name on a dotted line at a prominent company!!
