bro this has the energy (to me) of like where Linkin Park would have ended up maybe. It's that clean with that amount of space for vocal delivery but at the same time gritty enough to stand alone as not a beat but an instrumental. But the energy they have in their vocal style and the range and subject matter they had, the thought and spirit of that level of creativity.. this has that, again, to me. I diggs it. Well done.

I don't know what happened. This went off the rails but yet is reflective of what goes on in my head. I felt that my songs have had a kind of mechanical structure so I wanted to try and free myself. Honestly I am not sure this helped but I played around with chords some and then let it get weird when I was stuck on what to do next.

I wrote this song in a small house in a community in northern Germany. Through the window I had a view over a lake and at night-time I had to heat the house with a wood-oven. So while I was composing the song I could hear the sparkling of fire and the willows in the wind...
