Here's a story you might find funny lol. I was sent two different versions of this song by the beatmaker. Both were the same instrumental in a different key. This version with the key being higher was the version I actually wrote the lyrics to originally. 

As I started mixing and arranging the song and everything, I listened to both keys and for some reason thought the lower key version was the version I started out with (writing to etc). It wasn't until half way thru the song I realized I was working on the lower key version lol.  I added a bunch of elements to the song according to the lower key version and strayed away from the original higher key version. I was just like "fuck" and knew I couldn't really go back so I just let the lower-key version be the one I release lol. 

So basically the main verse was originally intended for this version of the instrumental; the version where the key is higher. But the rest of the song was made while I was immersed listening to the lower key version (including the very end with the where I had everything repeat and delay). So yeaahh. I basically kinda fucked up hahaha. But I learned from this... Pay more detailed fucking attention to everything you're listening to lmao
