So this one is a jam I did a few years ago which always stuck with me. I can't really cut it into separate tracks so I'm keeping it as a longer form live set. the audio is kinda crummy but I guess it adds some character :) enjoy!

With Thumpin' Acid, Lucile Cordova makes the leap from DJ revelation from the south of France to techno producer with a voice of her own. The track is an acid and dark punch straight to peak time, with nods to nineties rave but a fiercely current energy. Her acid techno is not retro or nostalgic, but urgent. The production has a rawness that feels physical, almost tactile; a pulse that does not falter and that hypnotizes with the insistence of someone who comes from the bowels of the electronic underground.

familiar with the underground music scene and how its skeptical nature can also be an obstacle to overcome, belief defect abandon any claim or credit in an attempt to transcend the limits authorship imposes, avoid the boundaries or expectations earned or self imposed and find the clearest, most direct path to their music for themselves and the listener.

at the core of the album is the music that inspired them, the conclusion of countless recordings listened to in their formative years that ultimately result in a life-long devotion to electronic music: from dance floor to primal anger and self-annihilating noise, to transcendental, ambient escapism and intense self-reflexive sonic layering.

the result is a soundtrack for this apocalyptic time, an uncompromising reflection on the state of mankind and its uncertain future — underscored by a sense of religious and secular demise referenced in track titles, samples, and soundscapes scattered throughout the album.

yet, more than a political statement »decadent yet depraved« is an introspective journey, turning each listener into a spiritual soul-seeker staring into the abyss, reaching for some kind of cathartic truthfulness.

This mix was recorded live from Reaktor's Katharsis event in 2017.  For those that don't know, Katharsis happens once a year and is dedicated to the faster, harder and more industrial side of techno.  This was my entire 3 hour set from that night.

Over the last few years we have built a steady relationship doing events together and sharing our passion for this music.  We are teaming up once again for ADE 2018 and releasing this mix as a thank you to all our followers and supporters.
