Once upon a time (with Boson Spin)

Tried playing back in the room through speakers for drum and bass loud into a room. An external sampler allows you to track simultaneously while laying down bass. I think there is something about knowing the track you are playing to is being tracked at the same moment ensures that they always fit together. I used a beat up SP-202 for the beat that I resoldered in a crazy way, the board was cracked and I can't believe it still works. Cant remember where I got the drum sample might have been Max? I sat on this basic track for a long time, then imported phrases to Ableton ,which I have never really used, and hashed out a rough arrangement, Then did a bunch of overdubs which I ended up erasing. I think I enjoyed the more stripped down sound then the crazy sounds I was throwing on top. Its been a wild year. I didn't get much music done, probably my worst output for a year. Its a tough fight finding the time an energy and then keeping your head on what your doing. Sometimes it works to just re-work the whole thing from another angle and cut harshly. Hope all you future people reading this are taking care of this world. We all wanted to be the generation that did it, but the greedy pricks slipped into power, and corruption seems to only work in one direction, rarely are people corrupted into being more compassionate.
