I Got You (Future Bass Mix)

RIOT unleashes their new masterpiece "Overkill". An excellent use of an electric guitar lead and vocals which fuses in nicely with a heavy four on the floor Drumstep drop. Staying true to style, RIOT also includes a very cinematic intro and outro which makes you wonder if the song is a baby child of a 1980’s horror movie and Coheed and Cambria. "Overkill" caters to both metal and dubstep fanbases and is sure to rile up crowds at festivals near you.

I played this mix for Pastel's Summer Nights digital stream to raise money for Feeding America and Reclaim The Block. This is a special one for me because working on this set was very cathartic in the midst of everything that's been going on. I channeled a lot of the sadness I've been feeling lately during these times where so many people are suffering... but this mix also expresses some of my hopefulness that things will get better... that people are finally standing up together and refusing to let these injustices go on any longer.

Reclaim The Block is an organization from Minneapolis that advocates for city funds to be allocated towards things that actually make the community healthier and safer instead of more and more police. If you'd like to donate go here:
