Original Version of Chhota Kadam.

This version of Chota Kadam is literally the only music I have produced in Ableton so far (I will use it more in ‘24). I wrote the original concept in Gadget on the iPad and it was nice but a bit dirty sounding and I couldn’t clean it up, so I remade it pretty much from scratch in Ableton then sent it to Belial for the collab, which he released here: https://soundcloud.com/belial-pelegrim/chhota-kadam-pelegrim-mix 
I am sure you will agree, Belial’s version is amazing! It was a real pleasure and his music always inspires me. Belial really is a prolific and extraordinarily talented musician and producer.

Then I thought I would release this original mix afterwards…glad I did 😀 Thanks for the feedback

Sanguinello

Way back when, my friend J and I used to jam our Sundays away on our Atari. Me mixing our own pre-recorded loops and unique, melodic arpeggios and J improvising melodies over that mix, often resulting in hourlong opuses. I have fond memories of long sessions that almost felt like they were beyond time and space; just creative capsules of music and intuitive collaboration. Not many words were uttered; we spoke with each other through the music.

Now, many years and other priorities later, we have rekindled our musical co-creativity and breathed new life into our old format from those jam sessions: Spacemaze, but with a different take on the collab because of geographical reasons. J has made Spacemaze Apollo I part 1 and 3 and this is my continuation of the project, part 2. We aim to continue this project together and post our finished mixes on SC under our old band name, @PekPax.

¡¡ Warning: very old track with very LO-FI sound !!

A tribute to the heavy origins I wrote on July 1994: two alternating riffs and a 3rd theme for a rest; little by little encouraging voice and of course, distortion on rhythmic and solo guitars.
