si j'aurais dû doubler la mise, passionément, a la folie,
au lieu d'épouser Sophie
et m'enliser dans la routine de tous ces piètres cependants
de tous ces tièdes caquetages...
Oui! J'aurais voulu doubler la mise pour annoncer mes finalements.

Rien ne va plus!
Dans ce tripot clandestin
je vois enfin la vérité des martingales
mes yeux figés pour contempler
la danse affreuse et inégale des mains habiles du croupier
poussant la bille et le manchon
pour amorcer les pièges à cons.

Faites vos jeux... 
Les jeux sont faits, rien ne va plus...

Il faut partir. Je suis fauché.
Je n'ai plus rien à faire ici.
Malgré tout ce que j'avais promis,
j'ai gaspillé tous mes jetons
dans la folie des illusions.
Comme un voleur lassé de nuits,
je prends la route, en écoutant
un sourd appel au seuil des vents.
