The inspiration for this was seeing the somewhat sad skeletal remains of boats alongside the River Medway & Thames Estuary & imagining what glorious pasts they may have had, travelling across vast oceans to distant lands.
The beginning is slow to reflect the sad static current existence of these ships. Then huge "muddy" sounding chords build up to try to create the feeling of them lifting themselves from the mud, before re-living their romantic past in a lushly arranged middle section. Finally the orchestra subsides to leave them back in reality: a sad remnant of the past left to rot in the mudflats alongside the estuaries & rivers of Britain.

The band have said of the ‘Tea Pea’ EP: 
“The Tea Pea was recorded in 2023, after a good solid run at playing all the local bars and festivals to find our feet, we found ourselves hopping in our cars and rolling down to Orbital Studios , greeted by a dear friend and musical collaborator, Lucas Saunter. The studio, set in the beautiful surroundings of Rozel, with a backdrop of rolling meadows and a fresh sea breeze, we set out to capture the live raw sound that the cosmonauts who have attended our gigs over the years have come to know and love and with the hope that we pick up a few more friends and fans following the release. 
With tripped out jams that fit any 60s freak out records, vibrant passages of soul filled vocal melodies with a slight sprinkle of the band's love for grunge and Brit pop, this EP is sure to leave you wanting more. Inspired by friendship and created for our fans, the only real meaning behind this EP is to get people dancing at our live shows.”
Perchard’s Wall are James Perchard on vocals and bass, Greg Alliban on guitar, Joe Hutchinson on vocals and guitar and Aaron Bouchard on drums. 
All tracks on the ‘Tea Pea’ EP were composed by Perchard’s Wall with all the lyrics being written by James Perchard. The EP was recorded and mixed at Orbital Studio in Jersey, was engineered by Lucas Saunter and produced by Perchard’s Wall.

Guess Who I Am was inspired by some of the recent experiences of Adam's grandmother who now lives in an old people's home. Prior to her current accommodation she was in a slightly less excellent home where part of her weekly itinerary apparently included playing a game called Guess Who I Am. As she suffers from dementia this seemed terribly insensitive.
