Deoxidized Burning Man Welcome Home Party Sunday 08/28/2022

What an amazing evening this was!  The stars were out, the glowing rocks, beautiful projection animation backdrop, and a dance floor full of the most amazing open hearted smiling super humans!!!  This is a high energy soulful house set that will get you shaking your money maker.

The Great Gathering Friday Night

This set was played at an intimate gathering in Tahoe to celebrate bringing in the new year.  For me this was an opportunity to reflect on 2022 and all the learning opportunities it presented.  The sculpture pictured for this set is called Drishti.  I was the lead fabricator for this stunning piece of artwork on the playa this year.  Drishti can best be summarized as the intersection of where your outer and inner gaze meet.  There are so many metaphors and interpretations for this in your personal life.  For me this is an opportunity to focus on being present with those I love most.  In 2023 I am focusing on inviting in more love and healing and learning how to be instead of always do.   This set is a collection of tracks that embodies this intention.  I hope it makes you smile and wiggle with an open heart in 2023.

Inward Healing

This party continues to be one of my favorite nights of the burn!  Whomp Wagon plugged in again outside and pumped thumping beats to the entire 2 o’clock side.  The vibe inside Deoxidized was full of love, excitement, and connection.  It was an honor to be a part of this rocking kickoff to yet another stellar week.  The playa provides so much magic and opportunities for personal growth.  Some of my personal take home lessons are being grateful for what you get, not what you want.  In addition, the concept of wise effort.  These are two reoccurring themes in my last two burns.  I will be working on these as I prepare for next year.  I hope these tracks get your feet dancing, your booty shaking, and your faces smiling 💜🔥💜

Burningman Deoxidized Welcome Home Party 2023

Wednesday on the playa is always a magical day for Pixie and I.  It is our anniversary and it is our Wet Woody Party.  This party continues to be a highlight for all of us at Camp Touch This.  The daytime vibe was so good and this party was super fun.  It was full of high energy, big smiles, and dancing feet.  This mix is a blend of house covers.  It is a perfect boost for driving, cleaning the house, working out, all the things.

This was an amazing gathering of conscious humans looking to connect, grow, and heal.  The event raised valuable funds to help NCPM continue its mission.  It was complete with food, drink, guest speakers, silent auction, and a rocking dance party to get out of our heads and into our bodies.  It was a soulful night that left everyone full to the brim!

Experience Breath of Fire Transformational Breathwork at Mountain Lotus Yoga on 03/08/24.  This was a full body vibrational experience layered with a live DJ electronic music journey with transformational breathwork.  The combination of these three modalities creates a powerful space to heal, connect, grow, and love.  This journey is experienced while laying down.  Create a comfy nest on the floor with some yoga mats or a foam pad.  Dress in some comfortable layers and have some blankets next to you.  Play through a stellar sound system or some nice headphones.  Put on your eye mask and welcome whatever comes up.  Sending tons of love and healing energy your way.

This was a sold out full house at the Lift in Truckee.  An amazing group of humans taking the time to focus on their personal healing, growth, and connection.  During this lunar window focused on healing please enjoy this journey as we all continue to move closer to wholeness.

This was an amazing street festival at the Truckee Roundhouse.  The Roundhouse is an invaluable maker space in Truckee. 
 It is a cornerstone of creative outlet, connection, community, personal growth, and expression.  It was an honor to play on the Giving Tree and watch families, kids, and all humans celebrate art and community on this beautiful day.  This set is a daytime vibe mostly of house cover songs.  It is a perfect summertime companion  for bbq's, driving, exercising, playing outdoors, or cleaning house.

This was the closing set on Saturday night at Love Fest 2024!  This was the most fun I've ever had djing.  The vibration was high and people were getting down!  So much love on the dance floor.  This was a musical journey highlighting the growth in my personal life over the last year.  It is a fun combination of house, afro house, tech house, and funky house.

Thank you Whomp Wagon for the opportunity to play on this amazing art car.  The entire evening was pure magic for me.  Riding up on Dreamcycle as Whomp positioned by Liberty set the stage for a night to remember.  The first note of the first track united us together for some high vibration dancing in the dust.  Definitely the highlight of this Burn.  Thank you to everyone who shared the energy of this beautiful night.

The Deoxidized Welcome Home Party Sunday night on the playa continues to be one of the best events to kick off Burningman.  It has been an honor to be included in this stellar lineup.  Thank you again Deoxidized for the opportunity to bring all our different tribes together to collectively connect on the dance floor.  I truly love this party and thank you to everyone who came out and danced with me.   This set has a nice build and is sure to get you moving.

Wet Woody Wednesday has been a Camp Touch This tradition at Burning Man for well over a decade. It’s an afternoon party where our camp and our larger Truckee/Tahoe community come together to celebrate a multitude of things — the joys of being together on the Playa; the friendships and love that has endured and grown over the course of the years; and simply, the joy of being alive. 

This year’s Wet Woody party was a banger. After festive hour long sets by Narniqua and High Vibe, RAZL and I did a B2B set of remixed classics spanning the 60’s into the 00’s which sent the crowd into something approaching a frenzy. You can tell by the photos on the cover art how much fun we were having playing together and playing for our people. There is always magic to be experienced at Burning Man—this year, some of that magic was at Camp Touch This for the Wet Woody party.

Wild Lotus Yoga Festival

This was the pinnacle of all parties!  The grand 54th birthday party for the one and only DJ LAZAR.  This was the event that we had been training our entire life for.  It was an honor to be a part of this amazing lineup of djs.  Everyone was dressed to impress and the light up infinity dance floor was next level.  Happy Birthday Ben!  Not sure where we go from here.  Enjoy this collection of NuDisco, House, Techhouse, and Afrohouse.

Studio 54

This is a transformational breathwork journey that was led at Upstate Nevada Crossfit Gym on December 21st.  This was a partnership with Stop the Slash, a movement to stop first responder suicides.  This was a great event to bring firefighters, first responders, law enforcement, front line workers, military, veterans, and their partners to come and experience this powerful full body experience. It was an honor to share this milestone of a birthday with Tonya, Arthur, and Erin.  This is a fun, high energy set with a few RAZL remixes.

200 years of Doing It!  Saturday Night

What an honor to get to kick off this amazing weekend of intentionality, connection, love, dancing, laughter, play, community, and birthdays!  This is a fun set of some RAZL remixes with a heavy emphasis on talking heads.  The Queen and Bowie medley is really fun if those songs resonate with you.  Looking forward to hearing what you think.  

200 years of Doing It!  Friday Night

This was the most fun set I have ever played in my life!  Love Fest continues to inspire me on how I show up in the world.  It helps me believe in what is possible for ourselves and each other.  The energy of the event was palpable.  This set represents the growth that has occurred with me over the last year.  It is a blend of emotion and progression of technical skills.  I especially enjoy the full circle beginning and end with rocket man.  I hope it brings a smile to your face and some movement in your body.  

Love Fest 2025

This was quite the burn. It was beautiful, amazing, and transformative. It was also incredibly hard, full of work, exhausting, disappointing, and full of opportunities for growth and expansion. The welcome home party was the highlight of my burn and the most present I was the entire week. This party normally takes place on Sunday evening. The rain and weather postponed this blast off until Monday evening. Those that were there could feel the building energy and were ready to come together and leave the uncertainty and chaos of the world behind as they move, groove, and lean into love. This set was all of that and embodied the theme of tomorrow today. Creating the desired feeling today of joy, gratitude, connection, and love through house music.
