Thanks especially to Igor Vasiliev, Minimal Audio, and Audialab for their apps Spacefields, Cluster Delay, and Deep Sampler respectively. Deep Sampler (thanks Kimbemike) took my very lame kick drum and gave me an entire drum and percussion kit, all sounds sharing the same "heritage" through AI. Too much fun!

From the Beginning, Og's people believed that only their nightly drumming and singing of the Sun Chant could guarantee the return of the Sun and the end of Night. So, every night they gathered in the dark...and began...again.

Og Make Sun Return

In 1984 at the Summer Festival in Rajneeshpuram, Oregon, while Osho was in silence, we gathered daily in Rajneesh Mandir, the 2.5-acre meditation hall, and listened in Osho's presence to discourses he had previous given. One day the question asked of Osho was: What is the one thing we need to be more like you? After a long pause he said "More", then after another long pause, "Awareness". What followed was the most beautiful discourse on "witnessing" I've ever heard or read by him. For me these two words are the essence of Osho's "method" for awakening, and from that point on it was my spiritual touchstone.

This psybient song, "More Awareness", is my expression of gratitude to him for his boundless love and his simple reminder: "More awareness." Enjoy the trip.

More Awareness

A quickie ambient electronic dance music song for a heavyhands workout. Putting to work all the ambient tricks I've learned from Chris Bryant, aka S1gns of L1fe(https://www.youtube.com/@s1gns0fl1fe). Also, all sounds were presets in VPS Avenger synth, with some tweaking, of course.

Workout Number One

This is my first ambient song done S1gns Of L1fe-style and shared with the S1gns Circle, a wonderful, supportive group of ambient producers mentored by Chris Bryant (S1gns Of L1fe). My music is evolving beyond EDM and MemRemix® songs into an exploration of ambient, and this is my first step, though you can still feel the EDM influence in this one, and the swooshing sounds were sourced in a field recording of the shore at Delray Beach, FL, a la MemRemix®.
