A Constant State Of Heart

Once upon a time, I had a very special boyfriend. So special that the journey was 70% about me questioning my own worth. On the last year of the relationship, I wasn't treated like a girlfriend as we were separated in a different town. It made me emotionally and mentally drained as I drowned deeper into his mental game. The only reason why I want the relationship lasted was to show him that the world is not as shitty as he thought. Through fondness, scenes that used to be black and white can be seen in colours, I believed. I was an optimist, but then what I saw was distance and betrayal. The relationship only lasted for 2 years of countless lessons. Somehow, I knew that it isn't going to be worked out as I wrote this song. But I tried though.

I made this song for his birthday in January 2018. 
Now I'm in a more balanced, happier state without his existence in my life as a boyfriend figure. 
And we still remain friends.
