Sentimental like Tom Waits.  Think of Mayer's "Gravity" if Ry Cooder got hold of it.  Inspired by a wise woman who knows better than to get involved with a guitar player.  Dark and sweet.  I can picture the late Ray Charles singing this one with the Raylettes and the Count Basie band, but I don't play piano.  You might have heard me sing this in my role as sideman to Heather Pierson, if you have caught one of our shows.  Hope you enjoy!
