Anjunadeep warmly welcomes German melodic techno prodigy Innellea to the label with a stellar remix of Forma’s ‘In Control’.

With releases on labels including Afterlife, Diynamic and Innervisions, Innellea has risen through the ranks of the melodic techno scene, becoming a firm favourite among fans of the genre and regularly takes his live tour concepts and storytelling projects around the world. Best known for his futuristic and dark sound, Innellea has remixed tracks for the likes of RÜFÜS DU SOL, Stephan Bodzin and Monolink.

On Innellea’s new remix, the producer showcases his trademark techno-influenced sound, adding a driving bass and bold synth lead in the breakdown, transforming the original track into a club-ready remix. Alongside this fresh remix, Forma have released the live version of ‘In Control’, taken from their live session filmed earlier this year and shared on the Anjunadeep YouTube channel.

Debuting on Anjunadeep earlier this year with their three-track EP ‘In Contol’, Argentinian trio Forma showed off a blend of warm vocals and electronic production, gaining praise from DJ Mag Latin America, as well as Eelke Kleijn, Hernan Cattaneo and Jody Wisternoff.

Release Info: 
German live act and vocal electronica outfit, Ameli Paul, release their EP Love For One Another via independent Berlin-based imprint MEIOSIS. 

Our generation is seemingly dancing at the cliff of the edge. A paradoxical state of solitude amidst a sea of faces. It feels like the beginning, but overall rather like the end. As we stand isolated, shrouded in shadows and doubts, love - in all its forms and manifestations - emerges as the guiding light we yearn for. It's what brings us together when everything else seems to fall apart.

Ameli Paul has encapsulated the sentiment of our generation in their latest EP, "Love For One Another." The title track comes with a gloomy breakbeat, a fat 808 bass drum, captivating and dynamic vocals as well as a striking lead synth line. It’s about the devastating situation society has put itself in right now and invites the listener to share love with one another. The track is accompanied by a stunning music video directed by Harry Delgas, which transforms the feeling of the music into a dystopian visual experience. ‘Hangry’ adds a more sinister yet playful tone to the EP, paying tribute to the music of the 90s when utopias remained in the grasp of an earlier generation.

Speaking about the EP, Ameli Paul commented: 

“This EP reflects our melancholic yet hopeful thoughts about the world and our private lives. After playing those two tracks in our live set for the last year, we are more than content to finally release them on our home label Meiosis with a stirring remix by Skatman. For the lyrics we joined forces with Matija Vlatković, with whom we have collaborated with for the theater play ‘Invisible Game’ that addresses illegal pushbacks at the European border.” 

Skatman, who has gained a lot of recognition for his releases on labels likes Innervision and Correspondent, adds a reconstruction of Hangry in his distinctive style of blending old-school with the contemporary: “The idea was to reinterpret the track, into something danceable while keeping the soothing, soulful and dreamy characteristics of the original vocals.”

Intricate Records scheduled a new single by Verve & inSilico, «Synergy», for release in February 2013. It will include the original version of the track as well as remixes by Sezer Uysal and Shingo Nakamura.

«Synergy» by Verve & inSilico is a result of collaboration between the Australian producer Kieran Krohn and his colleague Patrick O'Neill. «Synergy» is far from being their first collective track. Back in the days, in 2008 they have co-written «You Can Feel It», a track which has seen the light of day via Flextone Recordings and quickly became an “audio business card” of the guys. Five years later, in 2013 Kieran and Patrick are once again ready to present a joint production to the world, this time on the Russian label Intricate Records. «Synergy» adequately reflects the type of sound which is described in details in Verve’s official biography: «The elements of minimal, tech-house and techno in progressive arrangements aimed at impressing the listener and touching the sense of beauty and sublime». The original mix is accompanied by two remixes: by the Turkish producer Sezer Uysal and the Japanese Shingo Nakamura. 

Both artists did not severely rework «Synergy» and decided to keep the initial spirit of the track, making it lusher and smoother. While the representative of the Land of the Rising Sun held true to his signature sound, which is easily recognizable because of its extensive and voluminous character, Sezer Uysal tried to unfold his rich palette of musical colors.
