NO SLEEP

A mix tape that was ment to be a loud middle finger aimed at an Indie Label I walked away from when a project was in the final stages due to lack of respect and them trying to convince me I was suffering from writers block. Before I hung up the phone on the half ass producer I reminded him that I was a poet before an artist and getting more material wasn't going to be a challenge. Then while reading I came across the word "Alexithymia" - The inability to express one's feelings with words, finding it hard to express one's true emotions..  I felt it was a fancy way to say writers block, It became the project name, and title track. 10 songs all together. I originally pressed up 1,500 pro packaged copies then went on two tours in one year with it. I currently have a couple hundred left that I sat on for personal reasons. I hitch hiked to Denver from Oklahoma City with only 3 songs recorded and on burned copies. I recorded the whole album while homeless in Denver. I even got hit by a Ford Explorer going through a crosswalk on the way to the studio. I denied the ambulance, arrived at the stu, recorded the remainder of Alexithymia, then had a homie take me to the hospitol. A little over 10 years in the game. This is my 12th project. I'm trying to get it on the internet, but it's not easy when your a street hustler selling every bit of your music by hand. Had this up on a previous account will all songs over 200 likes but had to erase it for personal reasons. Chose to put it back up for anyone to enjoy while I work on my next project. Yes I put the real release date.  Yes I did multiple tours and thousands of shows over the years of that one Mix Tape. Yes I'm currently working on new material. Yes I could put out more, but until I get them music checks I still have to work day jobs. Anyway, You won't like every song but you'll like one the most. I hope you enjoy listening as much as I loved making and performing these songs. Established the name and a business account, as well, under the name "Rowdy Life Entertainment LLC." Started the company out of Denver, CO. on January 28th, 2015. Then recently moved the company to Oklahoma City. Through this company name we've hosted and performed at well over 2,000 shows, not including the two tours I went on in a year, or the tours sponsored by my company. Recognized by other established artists, promotional teams, Labels, multiple venues all across the MidWest, for not only being the original "Rowdy Life Entertainment", but for living by the name we chose. A force that is respected from our straight up honest business, to our Grind, to our Drive, to our Passion for music made obvious every time we hit the stage. The Motto is "You About That Life!?".  We are the original Rowdy Life Entertainment, all others are just weak imitations. #RowdyLife #RowdyMusic #BoutThatLife ...
