I recorded the piano and drums myself. Some elements like certain string parts, ambient sounds, and subtle adjustments were programmed using MIDI — although some of the string sounds were also played and recorded using an electric piano.
This track features vocals by Koharu Rikka (小春六花), a singing voice synthesizer.

The Gold Bug

My musical journey started on the accordion as a kid, then deepened through classical piano studies. Jazz cracked things wide open for me, and I’ve been exploring genres ever since.
