written, produced and recorded within 24hrs by The Unused Word on Oct. 31, 2015.

Hello everyone! This is my new track called 'When There Is Fire'. This is the first time in a very long time that I was able to produce a 'one night session track'. I wrote, produced, recorded and mixed everything in one day, primarily working on it at night - around 16 or 17hrs during the past 24 hours. (Yes, I am tired, and yes, I missed it!) Two of the reasons why this could happen now was that I rearranged my studio again and again, until it felt like my place, my home - and that I really felt like channeling my old friend insomnia again.
The track sounds eerie and strong, and the longer I kept working on it, the more pictures of old warriors kept popping up. Anyway, enjoy - this one's for you, and it's also a free download.

About this track:

It may sound cheesy, but this is a track I made for people who are or were bullied at school, or work, or at home. I have been bullied, and due to my pain I also partook in bullying by not intervening enough, and that way relayed a part of my pain. I am truly sorry for that.
I asked my friend Affe Maria, a drummer, producer and longtime friend of mine, to please help me with the drums because I couldn't find the right sounds. He's a pro and did THIS - I'm still getting goosebumps. He also said, "fuck the bridge!" and made me get rid of an unnecessary part. :) Thanks for your help, support and contribution, Dany.

Bullies

About this track:

I started collaborating with Nikola and Florian of Soulpeeling many, many years ago. When I moved away from Vienna, we met less frequently and somehow this track was never finished - until recently, thanks to DJ Testa who took care of the mixdown. This is probably the oldest track idea on this EP, but I really wanted to include it because I love the energy behind it.

Hello there! :) I haven't uploaded anything new in a while, so I'm happy to share two songs at once with you today! Both songs are part of the Duzz Down San 10th anniversary compilation called "X". This compilation features lots of label family members - I'm posting a list of all artists and tracks below. This is my solo track called "Falling through the barrier". It's a new track, specifically made for the compilation. It took me back to one of my roots - I used to experiment a lot, and to me this one feels like I was revisiting that experimental side of mine that hadn't been used in a while. Being supported and invited to make that kind of experimental sound has always been one of the biggest assets of being a part of the Duzz Down San crew, so I wanna say "thank you" once again for letting that side of me frolic and blossom. :)
