This week’s instalment of the Global Research News Hour focuses on the last of four assassination deaths: Robert F. Kennedy. Not only is it the most visibly provable crime committed by someone other than Sirhan Sirhan, but the individual in question is facing a parole hearing at the end of August 2021.

The investigator who will be playing a role directing us through the 60s assassinations is a remarkable chronicler of every single one of these cases. He has even been referred to as the guru of the probers into the assassinations. His name is James DiEugenio.

The Assassinations Part 1: Robert F. Kennedy

Alexandra Marshall discusses what she calls the three apocalypses as framed by the ruling elite: coronavirus pandemic, climate change, and a coming cyber pandemic or "digital darkness". "Climate Change" has been a hard sell and "is the only narrative capable of achieving massive state land grabs and control of global food production." "Apocalypse Politics" is a favorite tool of Davos and the ultimate goal is to "induce a permanent war economy within democratic nations onto which global treaties can be grafted to justify the antiquated socialist dream of a global bureaucracy." She feels the coming cyber attacks are really going to hurt and cause greater damage than the government pandemic policies and climate politics, but beyond that, she is even more worried of a fourth apocalypse, that of a geopolitical conflict and war with China.

Socialism or Capitalism: Millions of Unemployed Workers Lose their Benefits

50 years ago today, the inmates at Attica prison in New York state staged a heroic uprising that shook the country and the world. Shortly after the assassination of legendary Black Panther leader George Jackson by prison guards at San Quentin, Attica inmates took over the prison demanding an end to the horrific conditions they were subjected to, including routine beatings and torture at the hands of guards. On September 13, 1971, authorities attacked the prison and carried out a massacre -- but the legacy of the Attica uprising continues to inspire millions today.

The hardline militarist policy followed by the Bush administration, known as neo-conservatism, became completely dominant in U.S. foreign policy and military circles in the years following 9/11. And in each one of these regime change wars, the United States failed to achieve its goals -- but still caused enormous death and suffering.

20 Years After Sept. 11 - How the "War on Terror" Changed U.S. & Global Politics (Preview)

This  week on the Global Research News Hour, on the 20th anniversary of the launching of the war on Afghanistan, we will probe the dynamics of the relationship between the US and Afghanistan, and the look ahead to what it will mean in the larger cold war with Russia and China..
Our first guest Retired Professor of Geography John Ryan will speak about his visit there in 1978, how the Islamic extremist threat  was actually manufactured by the US and how the recent withdrawal of US forces was a result of their 20 year occupation. Next we’ll hear from international economist Professor Rodrique Tremblay about the failure of the US mission and the consequences for the recent Democratic president who ended it. Finally, Professor Michel Chossudovsky comes on to the show explaining that the withdrawal of US soldiers is not the fundamental defeat it appears to be.

Defeat or Victory? The War on Afghanistan (2001-2021)

Gregory Copley returns to discuss Africa and how the continent is largely rudderless, as it is no longer receptive to the West, and China has retreated as BRI has run out of cash. Coup season is back in Africa, as there is no downside for a putschist staging a coup nowadays (e.g. Guinea, Sudan). Conflicts center around territory, population, and resources (e.g. water). We also discuss the recent Algeria-Morocco conflict and the rumors of war as Algeria shut off a gas pipeline for the first time in 25 years. The same people who ran U.S. policy to break up Yugoslavia are doing it again in Ethiopia, using up what little is left of U.S. prestigious to create disaster. Mr. Copley gives an update on the US-China "New Total War" and why China cannot afford to go to war under any circumstances. Meanwhile, the U.S was given the Central Asian region on a plate and threw it away. He was recently in Uzbekistan talking to the highest levels of government, who are harboring great anger towards Washington. He believes re-unification of Taiwan with China is a "fiction" and that Taiwanese defensive capabilities are growing faster than Beijing's offensive capabilities. He discusses unrestricted or hybrid warfare, the "global mass psychosis" and wave of panic which began in 2020, and the rise of tyranny in the West. He cites former Czech President Václav Klaus, who told him personally, that we didn't get rid of the Soviet Union to create another one, which is what is happening in the EU, U.S., Canada, Australia, etc.

Gregory Copley: Coup Season In Africa, China Can't Go To War, West Becoming Soviet Union #235

Steve St. Angelo of the SRSrocco Report returns to continue our conversation on how the world is going off the Energy Cliff and how we are never going back to normal. We are seeing the peak and decline of this global hi-tech complex economy. He believes the elite are powerless to stop the falling Energy Return On Investment (EROI) and that a lot of their wealth is going to be wiped out, just as in past history (e.g. late Bronze Age). He sees us hitting the energy peak at 2025 and the likelihood of military conflicts as a consequence. Russia is looking to the Arctic and China is in serious trouble. We don't have enough energy to make the transition to the Green Economy and therefore things like the metaverse, cryptocurrencies, and EVs won't be possible at scale due to the lack of energy and an electric grid already at capacity. This would make maintaining a global digital technocracy difficult.
