Forever and Ever: Sounds born of deep feeling, where the undulations of the keys emerge from pads immersed in the restlessness of new discoveries. The architecture of the composition translates in itself the masterpiece for which it is intended. Simply wonderful.

It’s like reading a believable story or wish which is delicate and profound.  Beautiful work!

L'éveil de l'espèce (Neal Donald Walsh)
aujourd'hui plus que jamais nous sommes amenés à prendre conscience d'un changement imminant dans nos fonctionnements, la planète souffre de nos erreurs et il est maintenant temps de tous se rassembler pour un avenir plus prometteur et en paix, car nous sommes tous liés, Mi Taku Oyasin en Amérindien.

Ou bien comptons nous vraiment sur les enfants pour assumer, combler ce vide, l’observateur et l’inventaire ?

C’est une quête qui deviendra bientôt essentiel, universel
Les guerres, la famine, les épidémies enfin bref, tout ce bordel, cruel et sans cervelles
Notre si belle planète bleue a vraiment besoin de soutien, un grand coup de nettoyage de printemps
De fée, d’elfes, de lutins, de gnomes, des êtres évolués qui ont su traverser l’espace et l’infini du temps

Avec le temps, apparemment trop serré, je n’rentre plus dans la cage
Aussi j’espère que vous me comprendrez, pardonnerez mes écarts, mes folies car j’ai volontairement coupé le lien, en libérant l’otage
L’autre soir j’ai très bien senti monter l’agonie, puis l’orage 
Ce fut une question de vie ou de mort
Prisonnier dans les rouages, je voulais juste encore une fois tourner la page

Prise de conscience, demain peut-être, je serai assez clair, je ne ferai plus semblant, sans illusion, j’aurai sans doute perdu la tête

Demain peut être

It seems that each season has its own "perfume of mystery".  In a typical Texas panhandle spring, it is Lilac and Russian Olive that perfume the air.  In the deep South, Magnolias are hypnotically fragrant.  In summer it is the fresh, petrichor air after a rainstorm, or a newly-mown field of hay.  In the fall there is a pungency of fallen leaves as they are raked into piles, and as the days grow cooler, smoke from a fireplace during an evening walk. It is an odor that grows stronger and crisper as winter sets in and the sweet scent of pine with the setting up of Christmas trees.  Dan wanted to capture this "perfume of mystery" with his unique composing and keyboard skills and invited me to come along. Thank you my friend for inviting me. This song began with Ken's oldest son, Jack, who laid down the basic rhythmic beat. Ken took over after that with the rest of the beats, though. Jack just graduated high school last week, and he's into hip hop and trap music, so he wanted to share some of it with his musician father, who is very proud of him.

  Tez was first up on this one, which surprised me when I went back and checked the workflow. He added the perfectly placed guitar hits throughout. Josh was next up, using his synth to add the falling bass line. Last, but not least, Terry came aboard, adding the moody, melodic, high register synth.

  When it was all finished, we asked out resident pro mixer, Stephen, to mix it for us. 

  This song was in its current form for about the past eight months. It was originally part of a series of vehicles Eclectic Collective composed for The Mysterious Decibel. He got caught up in life, though, and had to abandon the project. So, we sat on it, asking all the rappers we know if they'd be interested in having a go with it, but no one bit. So, with Jack's recent graduation, Ken revived it as a celebratory song for his son. It could still use some vocals, too, so think of this as an open invitation to anyone who want to do the honors. 

  We hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed making it. 

  Oh, and just a side note for all of our friends who follow along with us, we will have  new one for you, the following Friday, the 11th. Thank you for keeping up with us!
