Estonian DJ and producer Ali Asker (@liitheli) is an exciting emerging talent who runs the burgeoning Liitheli Records in Estonia. Two years later and Asker is finally releasing three of his original productions on his debut ‘Ascent EP’ on Green Village Records (@green-village) joined by two highly regarded producers on remix duties; DJ Spider, one of New York’s most reputable underground producers, as well as Detroit’s Patrice Scott, who has consistently delivered quality deep house for well over a decade.

Premiering with us is ‘Standards’. an opener that displays syncopated drum work, glitched samples and airy chord progressions floating above a series of interlinking bass melodies which build to captivating lead synth motifs before ‘Concatenate’ hypnotic motifs seamlessly interact and hang amongst deep and murky atmospheres, all underpinned by weighted percussive loops and a rumbling low end.
