Devotion

A song about discovering the incredible images of one of the worlds great war photographers Don McCullin, who also made awe inspiring images of homeless people in the East End of London during the 1960's, and bleak portraits of the Industrial North. 
A sun soaked afternoon's walk along the Thames noticing the shrapnel damaged facade of the Tate Gallery. Went inside where I came across both McCullins work and the sculpture of the monumental sculptor Michael Sandle. One of the most memorable days of my life.
