This song was inspired by a trip to the liquor store, where I stumbled upon a bottle of rum called "Kirk And Sweeney".  I immediately sent a picture of the bottle to my two friends and songwriting partners Kirk Larente and Joe Sweeney. What a coincidence! The Kirk And Sweeney was a rum-running schooner back in the days of Prohibition. It brought precious rum from The Dominican Republic up to the NYC area. We set to work to write a tune, and here it is-enjoy!!  You can't make this stuff up.  Cheers, Mark Garni, co-founder, QCP

It captures the change that comes over us at The Holidays, making us more friendly, caring, and generous. Our lyrics and melody try to capture the idea that the world becomes a smaller, better place at Christmas.
