"As I sometimes think, my lyrics are manifesting, i really felt like we should create a very peaceful song.
It is a sign against war, we could all live in peace with each other and mother earth."
It turned out very elvish, celtic, deep and a bit like from the shire.
The title "Fae-lorn" means haven of soul. So that everybody can find an embrace and a shelter in it.
It is a song for peace hope carry on a peaceful shelter but also about love, healing, coming home, freedom and dreams of the shire.
Everything we need atm.

Celtic Music - A Celtic Tale

Inspired by a book called Outlander by Diana Gabaldon this piece of music is a combination of my own theme for one of the main characters, Jamie Fraser, with a more upbeat second half.

I'm hoping this will become more than just a single track if Diana Gabaldon gives her blessing to allow me to continue... ;-)

UPDATE: Diana and her agent have said that there could be copyright issues with the publisher and with the makers of the new Outlander TV series if I try to do something 'official'. So I'm hoping that if I keep this as just _fan_ music with no way to purchase, just the option to download for free that nobody will come chasing after me with cease and desist orders!

Jamie's Lament / Castle Leoch [Outlander Series Fan Music]

This is a rather mournful piece of mine. It expresses a deep sense of nostalgia. The theme here is one being lost in memories and having to deal with the emotions that come with such a state. Nostalgia and melancholy blend here in this most wistful piece. The title comes from the traditional Christmas Carol, “We Three Kings”. 
               Myrrh is mine, it’s bitter perfume
               Breathes a life of gathering gloom 
               Sorrow, sighing, bleeding, dying 
               Sealed in the stone cold tomb… 
This verse has had a profound effect on me since I was a boy. It is incredible how a few words can express so much. These are the themes which are present in this work. Another lyric comes to mind from the late Cornish Bard and songwriter, Richard Gendall, “well, might you weep for things that used to be…” from his song, “Silver Net”… Life is complex and having art that can express some of these kind of themes is a very powerful thing, indeed. I hope you all enjoy it. Do let me know what it makes you think of? The painting used is Leonora Carrington's, "And Then We Saw The Daughter of the Minotaur".
