Inspired by the paintings of Agnes Martin, which often feature a precise grid over a background of soft, watered-down colour, 'grey bird' explores the use of line and texture. Static chords are juxtaposed with washes of sound, sonically emulating the visual features of the paintings. 'grey bird' takes its title from a simple drawing of a grid by the artist. 
 
Played by the Trinity Laban Symphony Orchestra and conducted by Diego Masson.

Whoever coughed at the end will be found and punished accordingly.
