HP: 925 MP: 463’s ‘Cholo Tearz’ is an exercise in laser-guided club cybernetics. It finds itself deep in enemy territory, navigating fog-choked gridzones with calculated precision. And it pulls up strapped: drop the weaponised shock-n-awe dembow guitars on ‘Mf Nu - Metal’ and watch your pulse race and fight-or-flight kick in. It’s caged danger, harnessed and contained in a dancefloor-pulverising forcefield.

A stacked inventory within. The dual wield of ‘Fast Life’ and ‘Thug Pro Infinite’ mesh spring-loaded, exoskeletal drums with biomechanical synth melodics — not a wasted sound, pure economy of movement like a swarm of spectral Boston Dynamics mobile bots forging towards an acquired target. But it’s not all red dots and night vision: ‘Rural Song’ and ‘Clown Riddim’ betray the organic impulse at the heart of the machine. This machine breathes. This machine feels. And it’s strength, not flaw.

hi it’s been awhile, i remastered my Robert Miles inspired demo, ”Lavender”.

i’ve learned a lot of technical skills while making this track, i made this track in the middle of making “Mix Vol.2”. 

i hope this remastered demo version is a better than the first demo release! 

Might release the actual mix in december ;-) (stand alone single or into an EP on streaming)

ÑETA is the follow-up DJ set to XDJ Makiná's previous set "Divagone". With a 2-4 deck DJing style best described as open format, Makiná spins ambient, techno, & reggaetón. She also DJs house, salsa & hip-hop. 

𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐱 ➽
One of the most interesting characteristics of her tracks, and also in this DJ set, is the unique mixing of different atmospheres and layers of sound. Repetition of words and phrases, washed out with noise, then jumping into trap music, then dissolving into electronic downtempo beat, echoing the rap words in the background. Then building again (the part from 6:00-10:00) sounds like the soundtrack to constructing some cyber dystopic industrial world. Once you feel like you're in the club, then you are dreaming.

XDJ Makiná, a transfemme audiovisual artist from San Juan, Puerto Rico, works with a variety of digital mediums, like DJing, to expand & join the frequencies that make up the framework of her Island. Her work constantly pushes forward boundaries of the soul, individually & collectively, while recognizing timelines that enable her shifting state of mind.

Short for /fuck/, "Ñeta" expresses a variety of ways in which Puerto Rican people react to situations around them. Frustration, satisfaction, unsettledness, & celebration are only some of the ways "puñeta" captures the heated spirit of the Boricua people.

The cover for ÑETA, self-captured and edited, was shot at a hidden spot in Sea Glass Beach, Vieques, Puerto Rico, a minute's walk from where her grandparents grew up.

Brazilian-born, Amsterdam-based Lyzza has been burning up the European club scene since emerging late last year as a force to be reckoned with. Set to be released on November 10, Lyzza's longest recorded statement to date arrives via Symbols this Fall, showing off a brash style of contemporary club music that displays a natural verve for performance. Prominently featuring Lyzza's own voice, the Powerplay EP is a tour de force of huge riffs and vocals that leap out of the mix, provided by Lyzza herself, as well as frequent Sega Bodega and coucou chloe collaborator Shygirl. 

Beginning with the deliberate march of "Talk Ur Talk", Powerplay unravels slowly over six tracks, a constant build in energy that climaxes with the peak time strut of "LOL, You Wild!" before settling down for the haunting chill and cracking drums of "La Unica". Hardstyle kicks and splashy trance melodies provide texture and drama throughout the whole release, while the aforementioned Shygirl provides a breathy vocal performance that demands repeat listens. And regardless of context, Lyzza has provided a debut that immediately commands full attention, a true stop and turn moment from one of Europe's most talented up-and-comers.
