David Martini, also known by the stage name David Bean, was born near Lucca (Viareggio), Italy, in 1979. His passion for music blossomed at the age of 13 when he discovered his love for the art form. At just 13 years old, Martini embarked on his musical journey, paving the way for a remarkable career that would span decades. His initial foray into the music industry took place at the Happyland Torquemada club, where he honed his skills as a DJ, captivating audiences with his unique blend of sounds. During this time, he was known by the stage name DJ Dav1d. Over time, Martini's reputation as a dynamic and talented performer grew, leading to performances at prestigious venues throughout Italy, including the renowned MDA Festival in Florence. However, it wasn't long before Martini's creative spirit yearned for new challenges. In 2022, David Martini began producing music under the pseudonym David Bean, transitioning from his previous stage name, DJ Dav1d, marking a significant milestone in his career. With a keen eye for innovation and an unwavering dedication to his craft, Martini began releasing tracks on renowned labels such as Eclipse, IAMT, Syncopate, We Are Existence, and Prospect, captivating audiences with his distinctive musical style. Yet, Martini's ambitions didn't stop there. In 2024, he joined forces with acclaimed Techno artist Danny Fontana to found RAVE Plus, an independent record label dedicated to showcasing both emerging and established talents. His debut single, "Police," sent shockwaves through the industry, quickly rising to the top spot on Beatport's top 100 releases for Hard Techno within just three days of its release. Martini's rapid ascent continued in 2024, with a series of successful guest appearances around the world, solidifying his status as a formidable presence in the Techno music scene. His track "Paranoid" garnered widespread acclaim, earning support from esteemed DJs like Pan Pot and making waves on IAMT Red. As the year progresses, Martini's influence shows no signs of waning, with each new endeavor further cementing his legacy as one of the most exciting talents in electronic music today.
