These two keep going from strength to strength and 2017 has been their biggest year yet, and with lots going on behind the scenes this looks to continue into the New Year. Hot Creations recruits Italian duo ItaloBros as the pair deliver three vibrant tracks across their latest EP, ‘Gosadera’.

Hailing from Scalea, Italy, ItaloBros have been riding the wave of success, captivating dancefloors worldwide at venues like Ushuaia Ibiza, Motion Bristol, and PM Open Air in Buenos Aires and boasting releases on Kaluki, Trick, and Knee Deep In Sound, amongst others. With 2022 seeing the pair team up with Jerëmie for the release of their single 'Attention' on Hot Creations sister label' Hottrax, February now sees the duo step into the limelight as they drop their solo debut EP on the renowned Hot Creations with a trio of blazing tracks across 'Gosadera’. 

“The creation of this EP was very complex, we were inspired by our origins, by the sound of the South (Italy)! It perfectly reflects our musical taste in a Latin style and a powerful groove!” - ItaloBros. 
Already becoming a mainstay in Marco Carola’s sets, ‘Gosadera’ kicks off with an orchestra of vibrant trumpets and lively bongos layered on top of a relentless, grooving bassline. Next, ‘Story’ takes on their old-school roots, teasing lush piano chords complete with vibrant, punchy drums. Closing out the EP, ‘Amira’ showcases a deeper, sultry vibe with alluring male vocals at the core.

Defected is proud to revisit the legendary Todd Edwards catalogue with the fourth instalment of his House Masters Remixes, adding Majestic, Harry Romero, Soul Clap and Jay Robinson to the impeccable collection of house and garage artistry. Released in 2021, Todd’s original compilation demonstrated his approach to experimentation in its full glory; his entirely new sound, born from chopped up samples and vocal clips, helped birth the UK Garage genre while giving the American-born producer major underground credibility. Ever since those pioneering releases in the 90s, Todd has continued to inspire artists around the world, artists like Alex Mills whose glossy vocals feature on the new release spearheading the collection, ‘Wishing I Were Home’. This unreleased original shows Todd’s signature skippy style in full-flow, also receiving a remix from Platinum-selling producer Majestic, whose old skool influences blend with bassline-heavy house for an uplifting take on the new classic. Next up, fellow Defected House Master Harry Romero adds a New Jersey bounce to Todd’s vocoder-heavy ‘I Might Be’, before experimental production duo Soul Clap deliver two club remixes of ‘Winter Behavior’. DJ and producer Jay Robinson’s synth-laden version of ‘Can’t You Believe?’ closes out this bold collection of house and garage mainstays.

The alliance between our dear head master Hector Couto and Darius Syrossian has perfectly worked before, so we are super excited to bring you the first collaboration of Darius with Roush. There can´t be a better mix! Our seventeenth release is signed by this house master, who has hard-earned the respect of the scene by his contribution to music during the last 20 years. Jacking house and tribal percussions are the choosen weapons by Syrossian and that´s exactly what you´ll find in “Time” and “Back In The Day”. And if this was little,  French producer DJ W!ld is responsible of a serious approach to “Time”, providing depth to the original track and creating this superb emotional anthem.

Drawing inspiration from the city’s rich Latin American dance music scene, and a firm nod to the trio’s Puerto Rican roots, The Martinez Brothers and Louie Vega’s collaboration ‘Let It Go’ is as slick, soulful and groove-filled as expected.The nonchalant yet hypnotic vocal of San Francisco-born singer-songwriter Marc E. Bassy narrates, delivering a catchy hook that underpins the track, with a driving, addictive bassline and Latin-infused instrumental breaks that give the record its undeniable dancefloor appeal. This new package on Defected also features the TMBLV Dub, a gloriously stripped-back addition to the release, allowing the exquisite production to take centre stage.
