In life we often get caught up in our thoughts, and it's easy to feel lost or lose our sense of purpose. We have to remember that there will always be things that don't go right or people who won't like us, but in the end, what matters is that we're happy and confident in who we are. Things we are proud of will always be criticized and people will always find flaws, no matter what we do. We can't fully control how others perceive us. What we can control, however, is how we let these criticisms affect us and how we perceive ourselves, so always remember your worth, keep your head up, and "let your hair down." Don't bother worrying about what others think of you. Just be you and embrace your inner beauty and you will find your way.

Put Your Records On

I'm a 20 year old singer/songwriter from NYC, currently attending Boston College.  In the past, I have performed at benefits with artists such as Demi Lovato, Steven Tyler, Idina Menzel, Misterwives, Sting, and Jain.  Singing by their side, the experience was unreal and I still can't believe it happened... I hope you feel the same way I do when you listen to music (and hopefully mine too) :) Enjoy!
