Concrete Rivers

This song was written in between flights, missed connections, about pushing ourselves to live to the fullest even in the face of fear of the unknown. It explores feeling small in the grand scope of the world, but seeing nature as the key to unlocking mysteries for how we can live without regrets and give each day everything we have. Fight

This song is inspired by Lauren's travels from South Carolina to Alaska and back, and the experiences along the way. It's a homage to living life on the road and not knowing where relationships can lead, searching for hope in the midst of emotionally distant relationships.  It was produced by Eric Lichter and recorded at Dirt Floor Recording Studios in Chester CT with Anthony Valentino on lead guitar, Lauren on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, and Ray White on bass.

Hope

Lauren formed a band at age 16 and after that, decided to pursue music as a career at Berklee College of Music in Boston for Songwriting, and at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts simultaneously for Photography. These two careers allowed her to travel nationally and internationally, shaping her style as a songwriter.
      "My traveling lifestyle has always been a part of who I am and I know a lot of people can either relate to that or romanticize it, so that also happens with my songs" says the CT-born artist.
      Lauren's passion for music has kept her writing and performing constantly, as she is always looking to create music that speaks to people and melodies that stick in their memories.
     Lauren is excited to be collaborating and playing with different musicians in 2022 and looking forward to releasing more music soon.
