"That's one of those songs that sound so easy but are really complex when you drown into them. A real masterpiece from Stevie and one of the best stuff he did in the late 80ties. In contrast to the original feel of a  huge live band, we wanted to create a more electronic, modern sound: but linked with a few quotes to the source of origin. So we gave full access to our powerful Virus synth, playing the most typical parts like bass line and brass lines with aking filters. That gave the song a whole new direction."

Chris had that great idea to merge it with the Coolio rap version of the late 80ties. It worked out quite cool. And Mr. Gee added life through his golden horn."

"The idea was: turn it into a real dance tune but keep the cool latin feel. By finding out the right key, Ben was able to sing it best, we ended up in Abmin – a hell of a scale. Mr. Gee added some great sax licks with a  slightly rough touch. So don't worry, be happy."

"It's such a great dance tune, although it's a bit melancolic. We gave it a new beat programmed on our bad blue box KORG EMX 1 – and Chris came up with these nice Rhodes chords that lead through the song. Finally we added the synth line as a melodic theme to enrich the original  four basic chords. So get ready to dance, people."

"What a message! Lionels version already has that special remix feel. We wanted to keep that but add a little more analog dust and dirt. We brought our old Rhodes MK1 back to live and Chris rocked it out in one take. Bens power chords on the golden Strat kick it off. And we did some fine vocal setting with the backings and adlibs."
