About Definitive Junglists:

Definitive Junglists is a duo of two best friends, Shock & Z-Tek, who have been playing dnb together for fifteen years. Shock began playing dnb in the late 90's being influenced by the sounds of Bad Company, Renegade Hardware, RAM, Valve, and Technique Recordings. Z-Teks journey into dnb began when he started djing it with Shock, therefore sharing similar influences, which is evident when they mix together. They have been fortunate enough to have been involved in one of the greatest dnb scenes in the US, getting the pleasure of playing for some of the biggest promoters that shaped the DC dnb scene, Buzz & 3D, being on the bill of some of the biggest names and playing alongside some of the best local talent in the DC metro area. 

As they have gotten older and settled down in life they still continue to push their love of dnb music by consistently putting out mixtapes on their Sound/Mixcloud platforms, doing feature sets, live streaming, and posting to their IG page. They love the art of taking the time to carefully craft a set or mix that showcases their style of mixing and passion for dnb. Always grateful for getting the opportunity to share their sound of dnb through various media outlets and reaching different audiences. A bit about Matter:

DJ, event organiser, and content creator "Matter" is an accomplished international multi-genre selector making waves throughout the South West. Known for his versatile mixing abilities and varied song choices, he has played everywhere from Colombia to Falmouth and has been prolific in his live performances as of recent.  

On any weekend, his sets could include (but are not limited to) Drum & Bass, House, Garage, and Breaks. These accolades are how he has managed to headline "New Wave Festival" in South America, and has supported D&B heavyweight legends such as Enei, Culture Shock, and Matrix & Futurebound. 

Not wishing to be pigeon-holed into one distinct subgenre, you can always expect a diverse selection of tracks, often featuring plenty of well-known vocals and high-energy double drops, constantly aiming to maintain an element of surprise to catch out his audiences.

A little about Mazza:

Mazza is a talented DJ from South Wales and currently living in Cardiff 🎧

She starting to learn how to DJ just over a year ago where she took the jump and decided to teach herself to better her mental health and give herself something to focus on during lockdown, and since then has been securing regular sets 🔥

Her inspirations in the scene are Phibes, Crossy, Bish, and Benny page, they have all inspired her massively with how high energy and fun their sets always are, their track selection and skill always inspires her to be better! 💯

Mazza’s future goals are just to be doing what she loves and playing out regularly and gain enough confidence to give production a spin! 🚀

Take our esteemed clown maiden... at first you see a withered smile and a friendly wave..but upon closer inspection, the real absurdity of the gesture is revealed..its not a wave but a blood soaked claw wrapped around a severed arm....
