A tru legend within the current pop zeitgeist, I've been dying to remix a charli XCX song, and I just happened to find an acapella of one of my favorites "Boys". Had a ton of fun with this one and it came together really fast, basically all in one session.

My boyfriend showed me this clip I sampled from this on camera test of a 50s housewife trying lsd for the first time and trying to describe it. I love the dreamy way she talked and thought it'd make a good lofi hip hop track.

A few hours into my first play through of Persona 4 I was really diggin on the music, and after this song got stuck in my head I decided to give it the remix treatment.

I have been wanting to give a full remix to this song since I included it on my Don't Think Twice remix over a year and a half ago, but could never quite figure out what I wanted to do with it. Really happy with the mix on this one (keep in mind I didn't have an acapella as usual) and re-contextualizing such an iconic song.

A chill remix of the one and only Caroline Polachek. This is one of the catchiest songs I've ever heard, and I kept singing along to it while drumming this half temp groove on my legs when I figured it was time to throw it into Ableton and see what I could get out of it. Ended up recording some electric guitar including a slide guitar part using my lighter as a slide. A real fun one to work on, and as always I had to filter the original mix for an acapella, so lots of filters all over the damn thing. All credit for the video and original song to Caroline Polachek and those who worked on the video.
