This is a lovely tune from the very first Pingipung release. In 2002 Peter Presto played a version of his favourite hookline by the Dub legend Lee Perry, memorized by ear! And now 12 years later the real Lee Perry will make an appearance on Pingipung on the new album by Quasi Dub Development. We are celebrating this tying off loose ends with a limited free download of this classic “Quasi Lee Perry”.

Malka Tuti in collaboration with the italian imprint Roccodisco, and label bosses Ed Rodion and Hugo Sanchez bring forth "Perfidia". Ed and Hugo (aka Alien Alien) are no strangers to pitched down sexy dancefloor tunes. With previous releases on Slow Motion records they've made a name for themselves as sexy bastards. With Perfidia they present the vocalist Igino, a friend from home, Rome. Together they've boiled a slow burning, constantly evolving song for the late late hours. Strong Kick, deep low frequencies and those vocals lay the foundations for a true K-Pop hit. On the remix for the A-side Malka Tuti present a collaboration of two disco legends Ray Mang and Severino Panzetta (oh Horse Meat Disco), that add a Mediterranean flavor to the original tune, easing things up... On the b-side we have another slow burner with "Bella l'Estate", joined by a top remix by Tel Avivian prodigy Naduve to conclude your go to "hit of the summer package".

I cannot find any person in this world more interesting than Moondog. Inventor of instruments, self-taught composer, poet and blind at 16, he dwelled for 30 years in 6th Avenue & 53th in New York, wearing a viking suit while selling his recorded music and poems. Friend of the best musicians of the city such as Charlie Parker or Benny Goodman, he got introduced to Native American music since young. This mixture of Jazz, Native American music and New York City street sounds are the foundation of Moondog’s signature sound.
