Renowned German DJ and producer Boris Brejcha has joined forces with long-term collaborator Ginger on new single ‘Spicy’, out 2nd April via Ultra.
A melodic techno track that’s fizzing with refined dancefloor energy, ‘Spicy’ combines driving snares, delicate piano chords and Ginger’s fleeting vocals as it gracefully builds in intensity throughout. The track marks the first in a line of singles planned throughout the rest of 2021, culminating in the release of Boris Brejcha’s new album in November.

Dance music superstar Boris Brejcha has unveiled his hotly anticipated new album Never Stop Dancing, out on 26th November which is also the masked legends Birthday.
  
A twelve-track release, Never Stop Dancing features no fewer than five tracks released as singles across the year. First up is ‘Spicy’, a track that combines driving snares and delicate piano chords with the fleeting vocals of Boris’ real-life partner Ginger. She appears regularly throughout the LP, first on July single ‘Take A Ride’, a meticulously refined techno cut centred around euphoric breakdowns and a pulsating bassline, then on the impulsive, rhythmic techno of the title track, Boris’ most recent single.
Further singles come in the form of ‘House Music’, a collaboration with London pop trio Arctic Lake that pairs feelgood melodies with high-pitched vocals, and ‘Twisted Reality’, which features the kind of euphoric breakdowns only the German maestro could pull off.
Elsewhere, Ginger’s vocoder vocals return amidst the haunting, brooding synths of ‘State Of Mind’ and the potent, trance-inspired big room energy of ‘Underworld’, before the steady kick drum thumps and emotional breakdowns ensure Never Stop Dancing closes out on a moving note.
One of the hardest working artists in the electronic sphere, Boris has already released three EPs this year, ‘Vodka & Orange’, ‘Matrix’ and ‘EXIT’, while in 2020 he dropped acclaimed album Space Diver.
Emerging onto the scene with the double EP release of Monster and Yellow Kitchen back in 2006, Brejcha has spent the years since developing his own style of music, coined as ‘High-Tech Minimal’.
A diverse, dancefloor-focused collection of tracks, Never Stop Dancing is the work of an artist who continues to challenge himself with every release.

With the focus on a snare drum roll, a upward pitching part, a melody, a fat baseline and acid elements. Acid in that case means, crazy sounds in a groovy beat. Hope you like it - have fun.

For its 225th release Freerange welcomes this exciting Austrian producer who goes by the name Demuja, you already know him if you follow closely LYO. His "Mary Janes Theory" record caused something of a stir when it came out at the start of the year on his fledgling vinyl-only label Muja. Taking his inspiration from classic deep house but with a rough and raw approach, Demuja sit proudly alongside the likes of Ross From Friends, Mall Grab or Rimbaudian riding the new wave of fresh, contemporary house.
On his Freerange debut, the Move EP offers up four original tracks, each with their own distinct flavour. Opening the release we have title track "Move" spring into action with simple Rhodes chords floating across a crisp, driving up-tempo groove showing off the deeper side to Demuja. Next up "B.o.o.m" offers us a simple yet captivating, dancefloor-focused affair with a lone, repeating piano stab hooking us into the action. Flipping over we have "Into My Brain" which brings some acid-tinged Italo vibes and a jacking beat to proceedings whilst the closing track "Turn Me On" cuts up a much-loved Paradise Garage classic for a warm, soul-infused slice of classic, bumpy house music.

Age Of Love - The Age Of Love (Solomun Renaissance Remix)

French producer Folamour launches Moonrise Hill Material, a label he co-founded with Ethyene, Kaffe Crème and Okwa, with his second album titled 'Umami'. 

At just over ten minutes, 'Devoted To U' is the longest track on the album, but rightfully so. The ballad takes listeners on a sonic journey through Folamour's dancefloor-focused motif with warm textures and infectious rhythms. 

The album itself is an ode to his love of Japanese culture. Expect to find a diverse mix of house, disco swing and future jazz when 'Umami' is released on September 29.

A few months later I was thrilled to get these tracks which have been carefully crafted with our label in mind. The title track is the business: I love the hook, the groove and the piano riffs. This is a terrific label debut from a very talented artist who is going to do big things over the next few years. We are thrilled to have him on board.

When Oliver had completed his debut album ‘Another Day Another Dollar’ back in 2018, we were about to release it on Industry Standard, before the mighty Classic Music Company swooped in to sign it, and released it in spring 2019. During this time Oliver had commissioned a series of remixes from his homies, and now with Classic Music’s blessing we have been able to release these remixes here on Industry Standard.

This is the third and final instalment of three remix EP’s in the ‘Another Day Another Dollar Reconstructed’ series. The previous two releases Todd Edwards, Demarkus Lewis, Sinistarr, Christian Nielsen, JR From Dallas & Peter Croce. Stepping up for the final knock out round we have two house music heavyweights in Paul Johnson and Junior Sanchez.

Paul Johnson comes in with a remix of ‘Not Enough’ full of Chi-Town jackin energy with his ‘Jack Nation’ remix, tightening up the original loops, working some dancefloor cuts, drops & FX, and creating more tension with a signature busy snare attack. Brillstein’s vocal still resonates the original sexy vibes it always did. This is classic Paul Johnson in jack attack mode. It will stand the test of time!

The final remix in the series comes from New York legend Junior Sanchez, who has worked a tight house music remix of ‘Sampling featuring Gene Farris’. This was originally a slo-mo spoken word mood setter, being the intro to the album. Junior has laid down one of his trademark rhythm sections, and added a classic sounding sax line to the mix that harks of a vintage house sound. I nice finale to a series of future classics.
