there’s not much to it. i made this as a memory of the music i was introduced to and discovered at a very young age. i used to recite a lot of mobb deep, floetry and erykah badu at the time. i was 5 and carefree, and music to me was just an endless spectrum of sounds. it still is.

it was a dark time. seeing all my friends progressing while my life is stagnant was so painful. i had a lot of weight sitting on my shoulders for someone who couldn’t carry himself. every part of me felt numb. i was so dry of feeling that i had no tears left in me to cry. this is me patting myself in the back for overcoming it. i won.

one word can describe this one. “trippy” is just the word. this is yet another product of the melancholic state i was in almost three years ago. i was fighting a lot of demons, the greatest one being substance abuse. i was trapped in a toxic cycle of sipping syrup, popping pills and bottles, and rolling up until my hands hurt. this is the byproduct of that state, raw and uncut.
